Privacy
Last updated 20 October 2026.
coderot is run by the coderot founder, based in Denmark, who is responsible for your data. Questions or requests: hello@coderot.ai.
What we collect
Only what you type into the waitlist form:
- your email address,
- the open-source repo you suggest, if you fill that in.
We also keep when you signed up and when you confirmed, as proof that you asked to join. When we email you, our email provider records whether the email was opened and which links were clicked.
Why
To email you about coderot: the first open-source report, the beta invite and occasional posts about AI code rot. We do this because you asked to (consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.
Signup is double opt-in: if you don't click the confirmation link, you're not added and we don't email you again.
Who stores it
- Brevo (France) stores the waitlist and sends our emails, on servers in the EU. They process it only on our behalf.
- Cloudflare (USA) hosts this site. Like any web host, it sees your IP address when you load a page. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We never sell or share your data with anyone else.
Analytics and cookies
This site sets no cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across sites and doesn't store your IP address.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address on a block list, so we never email you again by mistake. Ask, and we delete that too.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@coderot.ai. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, or the authority in your own EU country.
